Gifts to the George J. Kostas Nanoscale Technology and Manufacturing Research Center will make a lasting and significant difference in helping the Center better serve its users. Your tax-deductible gift, whether small or large, will help us to maintain the Center as the primary user facility for micro-and nanofabrication at Northeastern University. These un-conditional gifts (conditional in case of scholarships) will enable a better tomorrow by investing in science and technology and in future generations of researchers.

If you donate equipment, we will send you a gift acceptance letter for the specific tax-deductible amount. Northeastern University faculty who wish to donate equipment may use the equipment without charge for three years, and Kostas staff will manage the maintenance of any donated equipment.

Donating scholarships for students who access the facility will not only enable the student to conduct research but will also alleviate the restriction imposed by the financial burden of access fees to the facility. Staff in the Kostas facility will work closely with the donor in drafting a student selection policy for the scholarship. Furthermore, this scholarship can be attached to outreach activities that are carried out by the facility.

To donate major gifts: Please contact the Director, Sivasubramanian Somu at s.somu@northeastern.edu
