7. Procedures for Submitting Proposals for Review
Procedures for Submitting Proposals for Review
- Read the Policies and Procedures for Human Research Protections to understand the procedures for which you are responsible as an investigator and to assist you in completing the Application for Approval.
- Complete an Application for Approval for Use of Human Participants in Research.
- A signed Assurance of the Principal Investigator must accompany each application. Other attachments, as described in the application, may be necessary.
Only one copy of the Application for Approval and the appropriate attachments are necessary for the initial review submission. Directions for completing the Application for Approval are included in the application itself, in Application Instructions, and in additional references within the text. Using these references to complete your submission will hasten the approval process. Personnel at HSRP are available to assist researchers in answering questions on completing the application and about relevant regulations.
