Resources for Faculty & Administrators
Northeastern affirms its commitment to and support of faculty and staff growing our community and advancing knowledge through international collaboration and engagement, while at the same time urging transparency in disclosures. To that end, Northeastern has compiled and maintains guidance that will facilitate community compliance with federal agency expectations. This guidance in the form of the two attachments below as well as the Research Security FAQs and the main Research Security and Transparency page.
Disclosure Matrix by Agency
This matrix is designed to provide general guidance on the expectations of key federal agencies for disclosure of current and pending/other support. This matrix is not intended to be exhaustive, but instead to provide faculty and staff with information regarding the evolving requirements addressing concerns about research security, sometimes called “foreign influence.” At the end, there is a summary describing the differences between the eCD process and biosketches/other support.
Research Security & Transparency Faculty Guidance
This document is designed to provide a general overview on required prior approvals. The document lists examples of international activities and any required follow up steps to ensure compliance with federal awarding agency and University requirements.
