Research Development and NU-RES Survey
NU-RES has conducted surveys of faculty and college research administrators in 2020 and 2021. The surveys were designed to help identify how NU-RES can better support faculty research and sponsored programs throughout the proposal-award life cycle.
Now with our colleagues from Research Development, we hope to learn from you about your engagement with the Office of Research Development and Northeastern University Research Enterprise Services (NU-RES); we would specifically like to know about your experiences with Research Development and NU-RES over the last year.
College and departmental research administrators also provide valued pre-award and post-award support to faculty, however, this survey seeks to learn about your experiences with the Office of Research Development and NU-RES.
Research Development supports and promotes Northeastern’s research enterprise, attracting and securing external research funding, bringing interdisciplinary teams together, and developing and implementing strategies that increase institutional competitiveness, and deliver comprehensive resources and professional training to help researchers achieve their research objectives.
NU-RES serves as a central resource and provides institutional oversight for the University’s research and sponsored projects portfolio. NU-RES staff protect our shared interests by assuring that Northeastern research complies with applicable laws, regulations, rules and funding agency and University policies.
Participation in the survey helps us track our progress in meeting your needs, modify process improvement priorities and inform future outreach efforts. We will be reviewing the survey results for improvements to our processes.
