Federal agencies (e.g., NIH) that have received their full FY2019 appropriations are not affected by the current, partial shutdown of the government, however, operations of federal agencies (e.g., NASA, DHS) that have not received their full appropriation may be impacted. Based on past experience, the immediate effect on your grants and contracts funded by the Federal government should be minimal.
Past guidance from Federal funding agencies allows you to continue your research projects; electronic submission systems remain operational; and agencies will retain essential personnel during funding lapses.
